A couple of days ago, footage of Ninja Theory's upcoming title, Bleeding Edge, was leaked online. First appearances gave us the idea that it was a 4v4 arena-styled, 3D team fighter.

During Microsoft's E3 conference the game was officially unveiled to the public. This time, the trailer played with sound intact.

The characters revealed are Buttercup, Daemon, El Bastardo, Gizmo, Kulev, Maeve, Makutu, Miko, Nidhoggr, and Zero Cool. Notably, two mysterious silhouettes are also shown on the Bleeding Edge website.

Fighters appear to have varying levels of difficulty. Someone like Buttercup on has one bar in terms of difficulty which implies that she is an excellent beginner's character.

Kulev, on the other hand, is marked as having four out of five bars filled up as far as difficulty is concerned. Nobody has five bars, which implies this might be reserved for one of the silhouette slots.

As this is being made by Ninja Theory, they are also the developers behind Heavenly Sword, Enslaved, Hell Blade, and DMC:Devil May Cry. DmC: Devil May Cry Combat Director Rahni Tucker is said to be involved in the development of Bleeding Edge.

The fighters appear to have access to a wide range of ranged and melee options. A technical alpha was revealed to be starting on June 27th.
