Version 4.0.0 of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has dropped. Along with Hero from the Dragon Quest series being added to the roster, there's a plethora of changes that have been made to the game.

Although you can read the patch notes yourself, this doesn't always tell the whole story as Nintendo can sometimes word things oddly. Luckily for us, Beefy Smash Doods has released a video that visualizes every change that's been made in regards to the game's balance.

Just how impactful were those Ridley buffs? As demonstrated in the video, Nintendo didn't even report on Ridley's up special traveling more distance than before.

It's worth mentioning that the only character that received nerfs was Ivysaur. Nintendo's wording made this seem a bit confusing, but Razor Leaf is slower in terms of both startup time and recovery.

The Beefy Smash Doods even do a good job of showing things that would normally be very difficult to discern just by looking at the game itself. For example, we can clearly see exactly how much of a reduction Mewtwo's tail hurtbox received during the recorded segment.

In a lot of cases, they're able to tell us the number of frames that were removed or added to a move's start up or recovery time. It's nearly a seven minute video that covers basically every change in version 4.0.0. Check it out below.
