Update: Dragon Quest Hero's full reveal video is now live. Check it out after the jump.

The day is finally upon us where we can see Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's next DLC character in full detail before his impending release this week thanks to the series creator and director himself.

Masahiro Sakurai will be holding a special 22-minute showcase showing off everything Dragon Quest's Hero can do as a DLC fighter beginning this morning at 6 a.m. PDT.

It wasn't specified how or where the video will be posted, but we assume it'll go live on the Nintendo / Super Smash Bros. YouTube channel at that time which we'll embed in this story as soon as it's available.

While we did see Hero's initial gameplay at E3 2019 alongside Banjo-Kazooie, there's still a lot we do not know about how the latest character will play especially his unique MP system which could give him access to up to 16 different specials / spells instead of just the standard four.

We won't need to wait long to play as Hero either, as Nintendo appears to have already let slip his official release date which will reportedly fall on Wednesday July 30 just before EVO 2019 weekend starts up.

Check back in here at 6 a.m. to see Hero in action along with what balance changes may be in store for the 4.0.0 update coming at the same time as the newest fighter.
