It's been a long road of twists and turns, but we're finally here. The final EVO 2019 entrant numbers have been released.

EVO tournament organizer Joey "Mr. Wizard" Cuellar shared the final breakdown of registrants per game on Twitter last night. With registration now closed, we finally get to see how each of the tournament's main titles stacks up.

After months of being at the top of the leaderboard, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has secured it's #1 spot with a whopping 3,492 entrants at EVO 2019. Smash Ultimate now holds the record for most entrants in a single Smash Bros. game ever at an EVO event.

Right below Smash, Street Fighter 5 and Tekken 7 have been slugging it out for the #2 spot. With final numbers in, it looks like the former has taken the crown with 1,929.

Tekken 7 follows close behind at 3rd place with 1,885 registered players, while newcomer Samurai Shodown makes an incredibly strong EVO debut.

EVO 2019 is seeing records broken left and right. This year marks the first event where seven main stage titles have over 1,000 entrants.

Fans can expect to see nine titles on the EVO 2019 line up. On top of the aforementioned games, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Mortal Kombat 11, Soul Calibur 6, Dragon Ball Fighterz, and Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] will round out the EVO main games.
