Someone put a gender-bender face swap filter on the Mortal Kombat 11 characters and you're not ready for Baraka

Did we need this? Not at all, but we're not not going to look

Life can't all be fun and games, and sometimes you have to ask the important questions like, "What would Shang Tsung look like as a woman?" Thanks to SHAAR and the relatively new FaceTime filter, now we know.

We're simultaneously excited and sorry to bring you this. When we first came across it there was definitely a hesitant "not all things are meant to be face-swapped" kind of feeling in our gut, (probably like the one you're feeling now). There was also a very real "we have to see, though" feeling in our hearts (probably like the one you're feeling now).

Surely a time will come when we aren't totally enthralled by picture filter technology, but right now it seems our society can't help themselves. (Obviously, we're guilty as well.)

Some of the featured characters lend themselves to this app better than others. Liu Kang, for instance, looks pretty convincing in just about every one of his forms. Johnny Cage, on the other hand, is simply beautiful in his own way...

The aforementioned Shang swap is actually not too bad, but seeing the filter over his older form is actually more uniquely beautiful than Johnny.

You'll find the full video below, but if you want the shortcut to see what a more feminine Baraka looks like you can click the thumbnail right here and have nightmares forever:
