GimR explores Parry Footstool Combos in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the tech of the future?

We saw how effective footstools were in Smash 4, will this have the same impact?

Since Super Smash Bros. Ultimate remains in its infancy, only having been released last December, new tech continues to be explored. VGBC|GimR has located more with the Parry Footstool Combo.

This looks like some tech that actually serves purpose within a match. Application of PFC's seems fairly simple if done in the right situations.

GimR has been finding obscure tech and useful data since Super Smash Bros. Ultimate released. He may have found the next big thing in PFC's.

Parry Footstool Combos do exactly what the name says. You parry an attack, footstool out of it and then perform an attack.

We see a broad use for this tech, from item heavy users like Pac Man, to even Peach and Daisy using Fair out of the footstool. All characters can use it varying degrees. It looks viable in a real match situation.

GimR also says that this mechanic is easier to use in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate than footstools or any similar mechanic in any other iteration of the game. This is due to the mechanics of parrying and aerials having such low landing lag.

Feel free to let us know in the comments if you'll be trying to master this new tech, and whether it truly is viable in the long run.
