Capcom's mobile card battle game Teppen is now available to download featuring iconic characters like Ryu, Chun-Li, Dante, Mega Man X and Morrigan
Not sure why it's called that though
We had previously heard about Capcom's newest venture into the mobile market with Project Battle earlier this week as a card game using their most iconic characters from a bunch of different series, and it's now available to try for yourself under a different name.
Teppen, a joint venture between Capcom and GungHo Online Entertainment, has been officially launched on both Android and iOS devices in North America and Europe, and it seems to have quite a sizable budget behind it.
The new game features wholly original artwork for the playable characters which really stands out upon first seeing it, and on top of that Teppen does feature voice acting for the heroes and villains as Kyle Hebert's Ryu will be among the first you hear.
Currently Teppen features eight playable characters with cards associated with their series including Ryu, Chun-Li, Mega Man X, Morrigan, Dante, Albert Wesker, Rathalos and Nergigante with more promised to be on the way.
Cards are also based around different characters from the represented series as well, as Ryu's tutorial deck features a number of familiar faces like Sakura, Sean, Dan and Devil May Cry's Lady all with unique artwork.
Since this is a free-to-play mobile game, there are microtransactions to be found within the title's shop where players can purchase jewels for things like new card packs.
