Jump Force is shaping up to have one of the most diverse rosters for a Shonen Jump crossover game ever with a number of characters thought to be unobtainable due to licensing issues making surprise appearances in the title.

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai's titular hero was chief among them due to his rights being owned by another game publisher in Square Enix, but now he's been officially revealed as a playable character for the first time in the arena fighter.

This week's latest issue of Jump magazine in Japan revealed the firsts in-game images of Dai and his various abilities in Jump Force with the scan uploaded online by pepepepe0919. and translations via Gematsu.

Dai is the descendant of the legendary Dragon Knight and the disciple of the hero Avan. He comes packing he skills Avan Strike Slash Arrow, Avan Strike Slash Break and Dragonic Aura Unleash for taking advantage of his backhand sword grip and special dragon marks.

The new character was previously leaked by a banner on Bandai Namco's social media pages along with Jojo's Bizarre Adventure protagonist Jotaro Kujo, who has yet to be officially unveiled as the first representative of his series.

Jump Force is scheduled to release on February 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. You can take a look at the first official scan and images of Dai below.
