Jiren vs. Goku shown in Dragon Ball FighterZ via new magazine scan
Techincally not confirmed yet, but all signs are pointing to the Pride Trooper joining the roster
We recently got a tease for Jiren as an upcoming DLC character in Dragon Ball FighterZ, and now we have even more to go off of thanks to a V-Jump magazine scan.
Spy_0taku posted said scan on their Twitter page early Friday morning, which shows the Pride Troopers from Universe 11 about to trade blows with Goku.
The translation, courtesy of Nicholas "MajinTenshinhan" Taylor, reads, "Goku and Jiren clash... !? This is the latest illustration for the highly popular Dragon Ball FighterZ game!! For the full details, tune in to the world championship! Please look forward to it!!"
Given the wording, we don't have actual or official confirmation that Jiren will indeed be a part of the Season 2 DLC, but chances are extremely high based on what we've seen at this point.
Jiren is one of Dragon Ball Super's biggest and baddest figures, and also ranked as the most popular character in our community poll, which asks which new characters fans would most like to see join DBFZ.
