Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been out for just over a month now, and it has taken the world by storm in terms in sales plus in terms of interest garnered throughout the fighting game community as a whole — even with the Melee players. The game does have a number of bugs though most of them don't affect competitive play... typically.

Two of the best Smash players in the world for different titles with Tempo|ZeRo from Smash 4 and FOX|Mew2King, one of the gods of Melee, recently faced off on stream in a set that would leave them both in hysterics.

During ZeRo's Twitch stream, the Smash pros ran a best of three set that would come down to the final game and final stock, but would ultimately end in a glitch that made Mew2King leap out of his chair exclaiming 'what?'

The pair both ended up stuck under the giant turtle on the classic Great Bay stage where the Melee god as Lucina and Smash 4 champion as Pokemon Trainer were trading blows in an attempt to bounce each other off of the creature's neck for the final KO, and ZeRo would come out on top... literally.

Normally, the turtle is a solid part of the stage that cannot be jumped through, but Lucina and Ivysaur's attacks appear to collide in such a way and cause a glitch that made ZeRo actually clip through the animal and land on top of it while Mew2King fell through to his demise.

After seeing the KO flash, Mew2King stood up from his seat with a look of disbelief on his face while the Smash 4 champ also had to get up and run from his seat as he laughed at what just happened and his friend's reaction to the situation. You can check out the full glitched finish and reaction in the hilarious clip below.
