In just two days, we'll get our first taste of Mortal Kombat 11 in action with its big reveal event where gameplay, characters and more will all be finally be shown off for the fighter coming in just a few months.

Originally announced to have a global launch date of April 23, 2019 at last month's Game Awards, it now appears as though Nintendo Switch players may need to wait a bit longer to the violent fighter on the go in a number of territories.

European websites are currently listing Mortal Kombat 11's Switch port with a later release date than the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions which are still have the original April schedule.

The Amazon pages for the United Kingdom and France both list the Switch release date for MK 11 as May 10, 2019 which is two and a half weeks later than the original global launch.

Warner Bros' United Kingdom website also lists the Switch title's date as May 10though the page also has the game strangely named 'Mortal Kombat Seven' right now while the other platforms are correctly titled.

There's no official word yet from WB or NetherRealm Studios as to why or whether the Switch version of Mortal Kombat 11 has been delayed though the North American Amazon site still has all three platforms as April 23. We should be learning much more about the game and its features during the reveal event on January 17.
