Strange Dead or Alive 6 online beta bug sees the fight continue outside the confines of the stage

Thinking outside the box

Dead or Alive 6's online beta wrapped up earlier this morning, and during its run players were given the opportunity to try out five characters in the upcoming title before launch.

Many clips of the beta were shared over the past few days on social media, providing a look at various high level plays for characters like Kasumi, Hayate, and newcomer Diego. Also shared, though, was footage of some of the strange bugs the beta had to offer.

Twitter user The_Neemius uploaded a quick clip on Twitter showing a match between Diego and Hayate that... doesn't quite goes as planned.

Fighting close to the edge of the stage, Diego hits a quick knee that turns the point of view to aim outside the edges of the stage. From there, both contenders start moving beyond the stage barriers and walk on an invisible floor completely outside of the platform.

Things only get worse when the fighters end up at the very bottom of the arena and half of their bodies fall beneath the ground.

While bugs like this can be amusing to see, it's also worth noting that finding issues before launch is exactly what beta tests are for. Hopefully we can see this fixed before the game releases on March 1st, though we're not quite sure what causes this bug to fire up.

There is a little bit of NSFW language used in this clip.
