With Super Smash Bros. Ultimate now being in the hands of professional competitors for over a month now, we're beginning to develop an understanding of the game's meta and its strongest characters. Given time, it's possible that we'll see some rises and falls on everyone's lists as we discover more about the game.

Recently, FOX|MKLeo released his tier list for the latest entry in the Super Smash Bros. series. Some might look at MKLeo as the second best Super Smash Bros. 4 player to ever touch the game — Tempo|ZeRo often regarded as the number one player.

MKLeo has already demonstrated that he's not a competitor that should be slept on during these early stages of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate after winning Smash Conference United. It was also shown that Ike is a fairly strong character in the hands of someone like MKLeo.

Please note that only the top five category of his tier list is ordered (Peach and Daisy are essentially being counted as the same fighter since their differences are purely aesthetic). Uniquely, MKLeo has Breath of the Wild Link in the top tier section.

Combatants like Chrom, Snake, Pichu, Pikachu, Palutena, Ike, Cloud, Toon Link, and more find themselves in the "A+" tier. MKLeo has stated that these combatants are good, but have their share of weaknesses that prevent them from being in the best category.

As for Bayonetta, Young Link, Ridley, Mr. Game and Watch, and Incineroar, they're located in the "A" section of his list. In other words, they're just noted as being "good."

The professional player believes that Sheik, Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff, Ice Climbers, Ryu, Ken, Ness, and Sonic have underdeveloped meta games right now. Finally, he has noted that Rosalina, Kirby, Little Mac, Bowser Jr., and Duck Hunt are the weakest fighters in the game.
