Mortal Kombat 11 was only just revealed on December 6, 2018 during the Game Awards 2018 event. Luckily, fans won't have to wait too long as the game will be released on April 23, 2019.

Earlier today, we got a look at a new Raiden render for the game. We also noticed that Scorpion will once again have a presence on the official box art for Mortal Kombat 11.

NetherRealm Studios has been hyping up the January 17th reveal event. As of right now, we only have confirmation about the inclusion of Raiden, Scorpion, Shao Kahn as a pre-order bonus, and a mysterious new fighter.

Brian Tong recently posted the contents of his invitation to this reveal event. It's almost like he got invited to the Mortal Kombat tournament.

This came in the form of a black envelope that was sealed in the back with a wax Mortal Kombat logo. The letter itself gave details about the event and also came with a Mortal Kombat coin.

What appears to be the "head" side of the coin is the Mortal Kombat dragon logo. On the other side, we see Mortal Kombat 11's unique logo. Pretty neat.
