Mortal Kombat character coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate? Maximilian has a gut feeling, and wants you to hear him out

As long as it's not Waluigi

Maximilian is back with an update on all things Mortal Kombat 11, and though we're still waiting for the next big reveal from NetherRealm Studios, there are certainly some worthwhile talking points to be covered.

One note Max points out is the similarity in presentation of Shao Kahn to both Goro and Darkseid in Mortal Kombat X and Injustice 2 respectively. Like the other two baddies, Shao Kahn is pre-order DLC, and both Goro and Darkseid wound up being not all that pivotal to the stories of both their aforementioned titles.

Shao Kahn has taken a back seat to other antagonists in Mortal Kombat games before, but like Max, we're hoping this isn't the case for MK11. We will say that we're happy that Kahn is at least playable, since it's usually not the case that he is.

The biggest point Max gets to has to be his ass-balls crazy (his words) theory about Mortal Kombat sending a guest character over to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

It hasn't been since the 2007 Wii port of Mortal Kombat Armageddon that the franchise has been on a Nintendo system, and that will now end with MK11's inclusion on the Switch.

We'll let Max do the rest of the talking as his video is awaiting below. Check it out and let us know if you're hoping to see an MK character in Smash as well as how likely you think it is to happen.
