Those forearms though...

The wait for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 community reveal event has seemed like an eternity, and though the event is now just 10 days away, we're still itching for anything and everything MK11 we can get our hands on.

Today we got just a little something to hold us over as the official Mortal Kombat 11 Twitter posted a full image of Shao Kahn along with the caption "'Bow to me!' Pre-order #MK11 and play as Shao Kahn DAY 1!"

If you couldn't tell by the text there, the big time MK baddie will come not as a main part of the roster, but as a pre-order incentive to get fans to throw down some cash before actually throwing down in-game... a practice similar to what we saw with Goro in Mortal Kombat X.

Said image appears to depict the same Shao Kahn we saw in the initial Mortal Kombat 11 reveal trailer, though he was somewhat shrouded in shadow in his first appearance and we can see even more detail now.

Kahn's head wear is more elaborate than usual with long, golden horns that stem from his now gold face mask. We also noticed his exposed forearms appear to have a beastly nature about them with darker coloring and protruding spikes.

We also saw an unofficial image of Kahn thanks to an apparent MK 11 content leak via GameStop Italy's online store. We've included the image found there, which shows the ruler of Outworld in alternate garb, along with today's image in the gallery below:
