Dead or Alive 6 release date pushed back to March for 'further polish'

Team Ninja has revealed today, via the official DOA Twitter, that Dead or Alive 6's release date has been pushed back into March 1st.

The upcoming franchise entry was previously slated to drop on February 15th on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, so the wait won't be all that, especially considering the fact that Febrary is a shorter month.

Fans are naturally excited to see the next entry in the now 23 year old franchise, but the rest of the fighting game community has been discussing the alleged reduction in sexuality that the series has become known for.

Today's development does not reveal the specifics as to why the delay is happening, but does promise "the best DOA gaming experience."
