The Walking Dead's Negan and Julia available in Tekken 7; Update Version 2.20 now live

Tekken 7's Season 2 content was first revealed at EVO 2018 where we learned that six new characters and other content would be coming to multi-million selling fighting game though things didn't officially kick off until September when Anna and Lei joined the cast with the big balance patch.

Now, it looks as though Season 2 content is coming to an end as Julia Chang and Negan from The Walking Dead are now available to download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC as the fifth and sixth new DLC characters for this season pass.

For players who do not have the second season pass, which is available for $29.99 USD, Julia is priced at the standard $5.99 while Negan, as a third party character who comes with the brand new "Last Day on Earth" stage, is priced higher at $7.99 similarly to Final Fantasy's Noctis and SNK's Geese Howard.

Julia's play style appears to stay largely true to her established moves she learned from Michelle though she's moved on from her wrestling persona of Jaycee to become a professional streamer. Negan's combat appears to largely revolve around using his favorite baseball bat, Lucille, to bring his opponents to their knees while mixing in some punches and kicks.

While the new characters' release marks the end of the planned Season 2 content, more might be in store for Tekken 7 considering Bandai Namco's Michael Murray revealed that they "plan to have a whole lot of cool other stuff coming up" at EVO Japan 2019.
