You might be able to get your hands on Mortal Kombat 11 a little earlier than its April launch, if you're lucky. NetherRealm Studios announced today during the Kombat Kast that the game will be seeing an online stress test from March 15 - 17.

This test will differ from the Mortal Kombat 11 pre-order beta that was previously announced and is also expected next month. The stress test is for US players only and will allow a limited number of participants.

As noted during today's stream, this stress test will simply be a short period to test the system. The actual beta will follow at a later time.

If you'd like to register, you can do so now by clicking the link. The process won't take long, as the registration page only requires your date of birth, gamertag (for either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, depending on your preference), and email address.

At this time, it is unknown what the stress test will entail. No characters, stages, or modes for the test were revealed today, but being that this is an online stress test, we can very likely look forward to online play — possibly ranked.

Mortal Kombat 11 is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on April 23rd.
