Samurai Shodown announced for EVO 2019, new trailer revealed
We just got word via the EVO 2019 lineup reveal live stream that SNK's Samurai Shodown will be one of the nine main titles at the Las Vegas event in August.
This was easily the most surprising reveal of the bunch, and while we don't know the exact release date for the latest entry in the SamSho series, we do know it'll have to be before EVO's kick off date of August 2nd.
Many old franchise favorites return as fighters like Nakaruru, Haohmaru, Earthquake and others show their power and skill as they slice, dice and slam each other around the screen.
Richly colored visuals paired with clever camerawork and not so subtle spurts of blood make for a wonderful presentation of artistic combat.
Opponents clobber each other with multi-hit sequences, but also power up for absolutely devastating blows that lop off insane chunks of life bars.
