For Super Smash Bros. Melee, Genesis 6 has concluded. This was a very stacked super major as there were over 1,100 entrants.

Notable competitors included VGBC|aMSa, Tempo|Axe, HLCG|S2J, CLG|PewPewU, C9|Mango, Liquid|Hungrybox, PG|Plup, PG|Zain, ESE|Duck, and many others.

Due to the level of competition present here, there were some pretty nifty sequences that occurred. We've got a batch of highlights from the top eight portion of the bracket.

First, let's talk about aMSa's set against Mango. Since this was the losers bracket, it meant that one of them was going home.

While aMSa used his iconic Red Yoshi, Mango stuck with Falco. Although Mango had some difficulties with aMSa's plays, he was still able to get some sick shine combos in.

Inevitably, aMSa would take the set with a 3-0 victory.

A great comeback from Axe's Pikachu allowed him to take a 2-0 lead over PewPewU:

HungryBox ended this particular match against Plup in under two minutes:

HungryBox managed to keep himself in the winners bracket by keeping Plup away from the ledge:

Axe got spiked by aMSa's Yoshi five seconds into the match:

Great reactions from Axe had him tail spike Plup and then deny him the ledge with Pikachu's Quick Attack. Now it was just him and HungryBox in the grand finals.

Axe ended up giving HungryBox a run for his money in the grand finals. There was even a time over situation in one of the matches.

In the end, HungryBox kept his composure and held on til the final game without getting sent to the losers bracket.
