Dankadillas performs the sickest combo we've seen with Gill in an actual match of Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition that will make you say 'oh snap!'
Oh snap indeed
Gill may be the only character in Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition without Crush Counters, but that definitely doesn't stop him from having possibly the most stylish combos currently in the game.
Dankadillas made a name for himself using the stretchy-armed Dhalsim in SF5 before more recently moving over to G. He also may now own the title for best Gill combo performed in an actual match landing four retribution pops without spending any meter.
What starts as an anti-air crouching fierce punish to Akuma's EX Demon Flip, ends up dealing around 60 percent stun in a few short seconds with two Retribution triggers surprisingly using V-Trigger 1 over the more commonly used icy second.
With the stun in the corner, the Ultimate Grand Master-ranked player manages to land three cr.HP in a row off of another Retribution pop before continuing for even more damage and concluding with Critical Art — ending up at a 50-hit combo.
Gill's unique Retribution system allows the secret society leader to gain extra juggle and combo opportunities by strategically switching between his fire and ice-imbued normals and specials which is made exponentially easier while a V-Trigger is activated.
Dankadillas himself also can't help but pop off during the whole affair repeating 'oh snap!' while laughing until he sees that Akuma was left still with the smallest sliver of health. You can check out the fun stream clip below though there is just a bit of NSFW language.
