The second year of the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour major tournament circuit is coming to a close, and we now have a date and location for the finale. Bandai Namco announced this morning that the Red Bull DragonBall Fighterz World Tour Finals will be taking place on February 8 - 9, 2020, in Paris, France.

Players from all over the globe will be congregating at the Pavillon Baltard to witness the world's best players throw down for the title.

"The Red Bull #DragonBall Fighterz World Tour Finals will be held in PARIS!" wrote the Bandai Namco eSports Twitter account. "On February 8-9 2020, the world's top players will compete for the crown inside the renowned "Pavillon Baltard"! Registrations open on DEC 26: 11PM CET. Stay tuned on @BNEesports & @RedBullGaming! #DBFZWT"

16 competitors will be fighting it out at the finals, with three contenders earning a spot on the line up through designated Saga events, 12 qualifying by way of Worldwide Ranking points, and the final player being chosen with a last chance qualifier (LCQ) event at the finale.

If you're looking to get in on the LCQ action, registration will be opening up on December 26 at 11 p.m. CET / 2 p.m. PDT / 5 p.m. EDT.

The three Saga winners who have qualified for the World Tour finals include CO|Go1, FOX|SonicFox, and ASM|Wawa. CO|Fenritti sits as the second highest-ranked player on the leaderboard at this point in time with 1,500 points — just under Go1's 1,750 — with other top-ranked contenders such as FOX|Dekillsage, BC|Kazunoko, VGIA|Shanks, and more trailing not far behind. For the full standings, you can head over to the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour website.

There is $80,000 on the line at the Red Bull Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals in February, so the year's best 16 players aren't just competing for bragging rights here. Those who are looking to spectate the action live will be able to register for the event in January, according to Bandai Namco, and details will be revealed at a later time.
