The Tekken World Tour Finals 2019 just wrapped up its grand finals in Bangkok, Thailand, and since they already revealed three new characters prior to the start of top 8, there was another announcement left for the end of today's stream.

During the closing statements, Tekken 7 commentator Rip revealed that the Tekken World Tour will be coming back in 2020 with its first leg of the next circuit starting up in April next year.

No other details or information have been revealed at this time, as they didn't which specific event would mark the beginning of the next TWT — it's not Final Round since that takes place in March.

This also means that the Tekken 7 tournament at EVO Japan 2020, which is going on next month, will not be part of any official tours though it will mark the start of the Soul Calibur World Tour in January.

The big news this morning was that Bandai Namco showed off two new characters in the returning Ganryu and brand new Muay Thai user Fahkumram alongside our first look at what Leroy Smith fights like in action.

While there's going to be a four or five month wait before the next tour kicks off, Tekken 7 will be getting a ton of new content early next week with Leroy, Ganryu and the Frame Data DLC all releasing on December 10. You can check out the short announcement below.
