Is Sindel's damage output too high and already in need of a nerf? TrueUnderDawgGaming discusses Mortal Kombat 11's latest character

Sindel was released as a DLC fighter in Mortal Kombat 11 quite recently. Players are already beginning to come to an understanding of Sindel's potential in the current meta.

Evidently, Sindel is armed with some rather high and easy damage. Isn't it too early to be calling for nerfs? TrueUnderDawgGaming recently released a video that discusses why Sindel's damage is most likely justified.

For the most part, Sindel is actually a fairly slow combatant. Her fastest standing mid attack won't actually hit anything until 14 frames of start up time.

In addition to this, many of her attacks are very negative on block. This means that Sindel has a very high risk, high reward type playstyle which probably wouldn't work out too well if her damage was toned down.

During the video, it's also demonstrated that Sindel has some difficulty dealing with zoning playstyles with her first and second variations. While it's true that her third variation does mitigate this weakness somewhat, her damage is noticeably lower.
