We had our suspicions as to what first round matchups at Capcom Cup 2019 would be, but Capcom has posted the official brackets so we can see who will be clashing right out of the gate as well as what potential paths the winners will be taking.

It seems all seeding has been decided according to global points, meaning that the top-ranked REC|Punk will be taking on Zenith (the Latin American regional representative) as the latter has the fewest global points of the 31 qualified competitors.

The only variable left is the identity of the final Capcom Cup entrant, and we'll have the answer as to who that is once the Last Chance Qualifier plays out on Friday, December 13. There are a handful of top competitors already signed up, and we're expecting nothing less than a blood bath to get the weekend started.

Whoever it is that emerges victorious at the LCQ will face off against Mago, who is ranked at 14 on the global leaderboards, in the first round of the actual Cup.

Last year's EVO winner, Mous|Problem X, will be trying to take out none other than the legendary CYG|Daigo Umehara right off the bat. The recently red-hot Zangief player, AZ|Kichipa-mu, has a tall order in front of him as Rohto|Tokido will be his initial opponent.

We'd also like to point out that reigning Capcom Cup champ, RB|Gachikun, will be pitting his Rashid against Liquid|John Takeuchi's Rashid... meaning that one of the Rashids will be falling to losers right from the getgo.

You can view all of the initial matchups via the gallery below.
