Janemba has been out for a little bit in Dragon Ball FighterZ now, and he's showing promise partly due to just how well Arc System Works and Bandai Namco was able to capture all of his crazy abilities in the character's gameplay and mixups.

FGC member Rath has put together an in-depth video guide for players looking to learn more about Janemba's specific tools, combos and tech broken down into his neutral, counter, teleport, mixups, supers, snaps and even more.

The player and tournament organizer believes that Janemba is one of the most creative characters on the roster with mixup options for days and consistent sliding knockdowns — plus he's seemingly good at dealing with pesky neutral assist characters like Vegeta and GT Goku.

As for potential negatives about the new demonic fighter, Rath believes that Janemba's assist is really good for combo extension but bad for trying to get any sort of neutral or pressure game going.

Janemba's slash special looks especially good for its range and speed along with its ability to negate ki blasts and even get a decently damaging combo afterwards as well.

Interestingly Rath also points to the universal super dash being a strong point for the DLC character since he can consistently get around 3,000 damage and a sliding knockdown.

The evil being's counter is also one of his more unique and potentially strong tools that makes Janemba invincible during the absorption of a projectile which then goes back to the opponent and forces them to eat a mix up with some nasty potential.
