The Shadow Lady boss is straight up a Marvel vs. Capcom character put into Street Fighter 5 and it's pretty busted

Boss characters in fighting games are nothing new especially to the Street Fighter series though you typically expect them to follow the rules of the rest of the cast most of the time. Capcom appears to be having a little extra fun with that concept at the moment, however.

The developers have resurrected Shadow Lady, a cybernetic Chun-Li, for Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition's Extra Battle mode... and boy is she extra considering the dark fighter is still a Marvel vs. Capcom character through and through.

Many players have already been sharing clips of their attempts to beat Shadow Lady legitimately though she appears to be on a completely different level than other bosses like Shin Akuma and phantom M. Bison.

Shadow Lady still possesses all of her additional attacks from Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes where she appeared as a secret boss / character. This includes an air dash, Rainbow Missiles which she normally starts rounds out with, a Plasma Barrier, drill hands and the Final Mission Hyper Combo turned into a Critical Art.

I personally attempted two tries at beating Shadow Lady playing Ryu essentially trying to cheese her out with Hadokens and Shoryukens. The first attempt actually went okay taking her down to around 30 percent life, but her combo and evasion game is seriously no joke. I gave up not wanting to spend anymore precious Fight Money on a battle I wasn't confident I could win.

EventHubs user Redwolfx sent in a video of their completion of the Shadow Lady fight using Ryu suggesting using heavy Tatsumaki to go through her missiles followed by jumping on their wake up to bait out the barrier to open them up for another punish.

Dra might have posted the best cheesy way to beat Shadow Lady, however, using E. Honda to get an actual perfect against her... using only headbutts.

NGN|NoGoodCitizen had a rougher go of things though getting walloped by the boss using G and spending reportedly 30,000 FM just to beat her with Guile and receive the title.
