More Gokus incoming?

Janemba was released as Dragon Ball FighterZ's latest DLC character not too long ago. This marks him as being the fourth released for Season 2. Only Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta and the canonical version of Broly remain.

However, it appears that evidence has recently surfaced that suggests that more combatants could be on the way in the near future. Some have speculated that this could be the start of Season 3.

In the recent update that made Janemba into a playable fighter, four unused IDs were located in the coding for the game. More specifically, IDs 40-43 were added.

According to YaBoiSaitsu, these IDs did not exist in the base game before DLC or when Videl and Jiren first became available.

This individual speculates that IDs 38 and 39 are intended for Gogeta and Broly. They also indicate that the new IDs weren't present in the Kid Goku patch as well.

Nothing in the code gives us any clues about the identities of characters that are supposedly hidden behind these IDs. All information connected to them appear to be placeholder data.

Bilbzy has uploaded their thoughts about this subject onto YouTube. Although the video is titled "Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC Season 3 is coming," do keep in mind that these details are currently unconfirmed.

While many believe that the timing could be right for a sequel to Dragon Ball FighterZ, a third season would obviously delay this.
