Demise|Seagull Joe is a competitor that has a lot of experience playing the Super Smash Bros. series. Since version 4.0.0 of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been available for some time now, Seagull Joe has a new tier list that was only recently released.

This particular player is known for being a Wolf and Palutena main in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It's also very likely that he has some experience playing Sonic and Diddy Kong in this title as he mained them in Smash 4.

All of the game's characters have been separated into eight different categories. They are S tier, A tier, B tier, C tier, D tier, E tier, F tier, and "Banjo and Marth."

Obviously Banjo-Kazooie and Marth reside in the "Banjo and Marth" grouping at the very bottom of the list. Banjo is in this category obviously because the character isn't playable yet. As for Marth, Seagull Joe indicated that he doesn't know where to place him as he sees little to no representation.

As mentioned by Seagull Joe, all characters are unordered within each tier category. So even though Joker is listed first, this does not necessarily mean he's better than characters like Pokémon Trainer, Snake, Wario, Lucina, Zero Suit Samus, and Peach.

"Wario has the best comeback move in the game," said Seagull Joe about Wario. "Even if he has a losing matchup, playing him is like playing with only 2 stocks. Every set Glutonny looks like he could lose just turns around from waft. It's so powerful for no reason."

"Sonic has been on the rise. Sonido opened my eyes to Sonic being better than he is. KEN still does exceptional. I still don't think incredibly high of him, but he's high tier at worst."

Interestingly enough, Squirtle is also found in the S tier location. This means that Squirtle is the best of the three in Seagull Joe's eyes as Ivysaur and Charizard are in B tier and D tier respectively.

Combatants like Wolf, Palutena, Inkling, Mr. Game and Watch, Roy, Greninja, Pac-Man, Mega Man, Fox, Pikachu, and a few others are seen in A tier. As for B tier, Duck Hunt, Pichu, Ken, the Belmonts, Samus, Cloud, Sonic, Bowser, Young Link, and Toon Link are categorized.

"Sonic has been on the rise," indicated Seagull Joe. "Typo|Sonido opened my eyes to Sonic being better than he is. KEN [player, not character] still does exceptional. I still don't think incredibly high of him, but he's high tier at worst. Nerfing other characters definitely helped him."

While fighters like Ike, Incineroar, Link, Piranha Plant, Lucario, Wii Fit Trainer, Diddy Kong, Ridley, and Ryu have been grouped in C tier, Lucas, Mewtwo, Donkey Kong, Dragon Quest's Hero, Sheik, and Captain Falcon are in D tier.

E tier only contains Kirby, Bowser Jr., King K. Rool, King Dedede, and Isabelle. At least they're better than Little Mac and Jigglypuff.

"Jigglypuff and Little Mac are undeniably the worst characters in Ultimate," explained Seagull Joe. "They're essentially gimmicks who are really weak."
