Geras has a Brutality in Mortal Kombat 11 that has people thinking he's Thanos from Avengers: Infinity War

Well, he is inevitable

As a fighting game franchise known for its well-kept secrets, it feels like there's always something new to discover in Mortal Kombat games. The very same can be said about Mortal Kombat 11, as fans continue to share clips of various finishers and Quitalities on social media that shock and awe.

A Brutality for Geras that recently hit Twitter courtesy of NASR|Shark Teeth has people immediately connecting the time-bending brawler to Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: End Game villain, Thanos. Liu Kang doesn't feel so good, Mr. Stark.

In the clip, we see a heated bout between Geras and Liu Kang. To stop the latter's jump in, Geras time stops Liu Kang midair, which also happens to trigger the Brutality as it is the final hit and finishes off the opponent's life bar for the game.

Caught with his arm extended out and frozen in time, Liu Kang begins to fade away. The way in which he dissolves into ashes is very similar to what is seen in (SPOILER ALERT) Avengers: Infinity War after Thanos snaps half of the population away.

This Brutality is called "Paused In Time," and you can unlock it in the Krypt. In order to pull it off (once you have unlocked it), you'll have to hit the Temporal Advantage special move as the final hit of the match after having hit the special move three times throughout the course of the final round.

Though this is a Brutality some people have probably seen before, we now know that it can actually be used on opponents that are in the air. If you're trying to survive the snap, be wary of fighting Than—I mean, Geras in Mortal Kombat 11.
