Even after Nintendo seemingly leaked Janemba was coming soon to Dragon Ball FighterZ, business carried on as usual for Bandai Namco at EVO 2019. An exclusive trailer was shown for Janemba and Gogeta after grand finals.

Janemba is now available to download and play in the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch versions of Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Hailing from Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn, Janemba comes from the Other World. This was the result of a Saike Demon not paying attention to the Soul Cleansing Machine. The machine got too full which resulted in an explosion releasing all of the evil energy at one time. This energy covered the demon and thus Janemba was created.

Super Janemba was officially announced and is shown with his infamous teleportation abilities. His animation appears to be spot on and displays his portal opening attacks.

Now available, you can purchase the season two DLC season pass for $24.99. If you've already purchased the season pass, just go ahead and download the newest fighter.

For those who don't want to buy the entire season pass, Janemba is available separately for $4.99 on the Playstation Store, Nintendo eShop, Xbox Live or Steam

The next DLC character to come will be Gogeta, who also was in Fusion Reborn — though his overall design comes from the most recent Dragon Ball Super: Broly film. There is no set release date yet, but we know that he is "coming soon."
