Dragon Ball FighterZ features a glitch that sticks players together like Guile's classic handcuffs and opens to door to some really funky combos

We're like brothers... only closer

Guile's handcuff glitch back in the early days of Street Fighter 2 in the arcades would bring a halt to matches because the opponent would become glued to the military man and neither player could hit each other. Almost 30 years later a similar bug has popped up in one of today's most popular fighting games.

A glitch has been recently discovered in Dragon Ball FighterZ involving Fused Zamasu that causes one character to follow their opponent and reverse momentum opening up the possibilities for strange new combos that see both players flying backwards across the screen.

Seemingly first posted online by meidosan after it was encountered in an online match, the glitch has only been confirmed to work using Zamasu, Super Saiyan Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Goku in conjunction though fulfilling certain requirements could likely lead to similar outcomes with other characters.

Using one of Zamasu's Supers while the enemy has their back turned to him, like when they're already in the middle of doing an attack, and swapping out to Super Saiyan Blue Goku will cause him to constantly move towards the opponent.

Many are speculating that this is likely caused by confusing FighterZ's sense of momentum since a character is getting hit with a Super from the back instead of the front as designed. This causes the momentum of hits in the game to be reversed and remain that way until the Blue Goku is defeated.

Other players like Petora and Kamohito have since taken the sticky new glitch into training mode to do some testing and see just how long of combos you can make when there is no knockback on any of your moves.

Although this new bug did pop up in an actual online match, it probably shouldn't cause too much concern in the community due to how many boxes need to be checked off to take advantage of it. You still might want to be a bit more cautious the next time you go online and come across a team with Zamasu and Blue Goku, however.
