Mortal Kombat 11's official launch is fast approaching. Fans will finally be able to get their hands on the game in less than two weeks, and NetherRealm Studios continues to unveil content for the game as we get closer to release.

During yesterday's Kombat Kast live stream — where Kitana and D'Vorah were officially showcased — the NRS crew gave us a glimpse at the almost final Mortal Kombat 11 character select screen.

Pointed out by the NRS crew on the stream, the character select screen we see here only has two empty slots left.

We already know that Shao Kahn is a pre-order bonus that will be available at launch, so he is likely taking up one of those slots. This means we likely have a final launch roster character reveal incoming.

Considering how close to launch the game is, it is unlikely that the character select screen will move around much. There's a good chance that what we're seeing here is the order we'll see come release, with the final two characters dropped into the empty slots.

Mortal Kombat is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on April 23.
