The Tekken World Tour is back in 2019, and saying that it's "bigger than ever" is an understatement. With nearly 30 major tournaments planned for the season, it's already looking like a wild ride, but the new for 2019 Dojo events are taking the TWT to all new heights.

The World Tour website has recently been updated to reflect all of the Dojo events that have been added. There are nearly 100 already, and that number will be increasing as the season goes on.

In addition to "Master" tier events (which allot the most seasonal points and are amongst the highest profile events) "Dojo" events are an all new opt-in category that allow for Tekken lovers amongst the eligible regions to become a part of the Tekken World Tour.

It's very evident that tournament organizers have flocked in droves to this new venture as we see Dojo tourneys on the schedule from Madrid to England, SoCal to Shanghai, and plenty of other locales all over the globe.

These events can be added any time between now and the end of the season. The TWT Finals will be held in Bangkok, Thailand this year, but have not yet been given a firm date. With $185,000 base prize pool ($100,000 of which will go to the aforementioned Finals) and this unprecedented volume of events, this looks to be an incredible year for Tekken fans.

Here's a bit more information on the 2019 Tour, and you can find the full list of current Dojo events as well as instructions on how to get your local tournament on the TWT right here.
