BlindWarriorSven achieves Super Diamond rank in Street Fighter 5 despite disability
Despite being blind, BlindWarriorSven is a Street Fighter 5 player that has made a name for himself by competing at tournaments. He has previously praised Capcom and Street Fighter 5's sound design for making this possible in the first place.
Although the odds may seem stacked against BlindWarriorSven when it comes to achieving an excellent rank in online play, he has managed to boost himself to Super Diamond rank with Ken.
Even BlindWarriorSven has noted that he initially had some doubts about being able to reach such a goal. "When I started this game I never thought I could ever reach this level with my disability," said Sven on Twitter. "So happy I could."
We've previously seen this player clutch out a 2-0 victory at a Capcom Pro Tour pools set and took on 'The Master' Extra Battle boss fight against an overpowered version of Ryu.
For many players, reaching Super Diamond rank is already a daunting task even with all senses. Through hard work and dedication, BlindWarriorSven has achieved a difficult task despite tough odds.
His final opponent was an Ultra Diamond ranked Ryu. BlindWarriorSven's frame traps and hit confirms with Ken were most certainly on point during this match. Major props go out to BlindWarriorSven for accomplishing this.
