Dragon Ball FighterZ's latest Version 1.12 update is now live across all platforms — aside from the Switch which isn't out yet — and brings with it a bevy of new content to the popular fighter including new ways to play the base game.

New Halloween-themed content is now available in the game through the Z Capsule in-game store including new lobby avatars that turn characters into classic horror monsters, a purple / orange-themed color 13 for characters and special Z Stamps which will be available until the end of November.

Dragon Ball FighterZ also received new local game types that were previously thought to be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version of the game, as 1v1 and 2v2 offline battles have been added to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions of the fighter.

The Galactic Arena stage has also been added to Dragon Ball FighterZ which displays players' profiles on giant screens including their BP, total games played and total games won that fighters can be smashed through.

New online ranks have also been added to DBFZ for Ranked Matches including the new highest tier of "Zen-Oh" level. Unlimited rematch options have also reportedly been added to all online modes with the latest patch as well.

Android 17 and Cooler are not available in Dragon Ball FighterZ as DLC just yet, but this update does also prepare for their arrival tomorrow. You can check out the full update trailer after the jump.
