Update: Street Fighter 5's servers appear to be back online with the new content — though may be slow for some users right now. Along with the new costumes and Dojo stage, the store has also received a minor update featuring new recommended tabs with voiced descriptions and quips from Dan's younger sister, Yuriko Hibiki.

Earlier: Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition is receiving an update today that will add brand new content to the game. Fans won't be able to access said content, though, until some routine server maintenance has been completed.

As we almost always see before a new Street Fighter 5 update, the game's servers will be going offline for a short period of time. Starting at 11 a.m. PDT / 2 p.m. EDT and ending around 5 p.m. PDT / 8 p.m. EDT, the maintenance will see the game's offline modes being inaccessible during that window of time.

Servers going offline will not be a fruitless venture, of course. When they return to their online status, players will be able to purchase new Halloween and Darkstalkers costumes for a handful of characters.

The Halloween costumes will give Falke, Guile, Abigail, and Kolin spooky new looks. Each costume will run you $3.99 USD on PlayStation 4 and Steam, and the previous two years of Halloween costume sets will also be available to purchase once again for $9.99 for the 2016 pack and $6.99 for the 2017 bundle.

Additionally, a new set of Darkstalkers costumes for Chun-Li, Menat, and Ed are set to go live today. You can pick up each of these costumes individually for $3.99 USD on PS4 and Steam or can opt to scoop up the Darkstalkers costume bundle for $14.99 USD that includes the three aforementioned costumes, as well as the first three Darkstalkers outfits: Urien as Donovan, Juri as Lilith, and Menat as Khaibit.

On top of all of that, Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition will see the launch of its new Dojo Mode. With it, players will be able to join together to sharpen their skills, as well as customize their own dojo stage.
