It was around 2010 that Mr. Mike Ross won the heart of just about every member of the fighting game community with his inspiring gameplay and charismatic presence.

Whether behind the sticks or in front of the camera, Ross' charm and presentation were exceptional and propelled him up to become one of the most recognizable faces in the community, eventually helping him land a job with Twitch.

After observing some major alterations in the industry, Mike decided to change gears and wound up leaving his job with Twitch. He decided to move away from the FGC spotlight to do some soul searching, and has been dancing to his own beat for over a year now.

He graciously agreed to join us for this week's episode of the podcast to chat about such topics as eSports and how he's seen it affect the FGC and his newer endeavors with Guilty Gear.

He also talks a little bit about his beginnings in the community, one of his favorite fighting game memories and more.

1:36 - Which games are you playing these days?
6:25 - Entering the FGC in 2018
9:01 - The most enjoyable experience in fighting games
11:10 - Getting into Guilty Gear
14:12 - E.S.P.O.R.T.S.
