New customizable Dojo stage and new features announced for Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition

Street Fighter on Twitter has announced a new feature for Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition. Each player can now link up their account to the upcoming Dojo Mode.

Upon doing so, you'll gain access to the new Dojo stage. What's unique about this particular stage is that each user is allowed to customize the background and other elements to their liking.

The new Dojo Mode will allow everyone to link this feature to their Fighter ID and Twitter accounts to more easily communicate with other players. You can create interactions with players of a similar league or with those that use the same character as you.

Items used to customize your personal dojo can be obtained with Menat's Fighting Chance, ranking high in Dojo Rankings, and fulfilling specific unlock conditions. Note that this will be a menu that is separate from costumes and colors that is specifically in place to unlock elements to customize dojos.

Players will also be able to work together to accumulate "Dojo Points" to improve your dojo's ranking. Apparently the top dojo will receive rewards. One can think of this like a clan system from other games.

This will be launching on September 25, 2018. When the time comes, we'll be able to start a dojo on the CFN website.

Dojos are essentially community hubs that have leaders. Each leader is being referred to as the "Grand Master." By default, the creator of each dojo will be the Grand Master but they are able to give this title to another member if they should choose to.

Every dojo can be given a name, an emblem, an introductory blurb, a maximum number of members setting, who can approve member applications, and even flyers to attract the attention of new members.

There is also a "Remove All" option that will get rid off all objects present in the dojo. Of course, this isn't necessary to rearrange everything if the "My Settings" option is utilized properly.

You can attempt to join a dojo by searching for a player's Fighter ID, dojo ID, or other conditions. While searching for a dojo, you can only have one application submitted at a time but you can cancel a submission after a five minute wait time.

Upon joining a dojo, you'll be able to view a list of members, rankings, favorite characters, and profiles. The ability to add a comment to your dojo profile is available to let others know who you are.

Members will be awarded points based on their performance in Arcade, Survival, Extra Battle, Ranked Matches, Casual Matches, and Battle Lounge matches. The top ten thousand dojos will be displayed on a leaderboard.

All members of a dojo will be rewarded if their dojo is one of the best for each month. They'll be given a decorative object to commemorate (or show off) the occasion.

Bear in mind that each dojo stage has a maximum amount of space. An object like a vehicle will actually take up more space on the stage than a plant or a vase. Carefully plan out how you want your dojo to look.
