ARCREVO World Tour points system and details announced, grand finals to take place in Los Angeles late next year

Back at EVO 2018 last month, Arc System Works unveiled their own pro tour-esque tournament circuit for fighting titles under their umbrella. The ARCREVO World Tour is set to begin this Fall and will feature three different ArcSys games: Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle and BlazBlue: Central Fiction.

Arc System Works has just released new details on the ARCREVO World Tour. On their official website, we learn that this tour will feature a points system for top placing competitors — much like we're seeing with other fighting game tournament circuits.

ARCREVO tournaments will be ran on PlayStation 4 consoles and will be 1v1 double elimination (as you might have guessed). The top 8 finishers at each event will earn ARCREVO World Points (AWP) according to their placement.

The ArcSys website states that players have until the final qualifier tournament taking place Summer 2019 to earn AWP. The players with the most ARCREVO World Points from each region will be invited to the tour's grand finals, which will be held in Los Angeles, California in Fall 2019.

The first stop on the ARCREVO World Tour is set for Revolution 2018, which will be taking place on September 28th - 30th in London, England. The winner of this event will win a paid trip to ARCREVO Japan 2018 on November 23rd - 24th, which is another stop on the World Tour.

You can check out a breakdown of the points distribution for top 8 placers below and a list of the events we know so far after the jump.
