We recently reported the news of Yoshinori Ono's job title changing, with Ryozo Tsujimoto becoming the head of division 2 at Capcom, which houses their fighting games.

Ryozo Tsujimoto may be a rising star in the video game industry, with the outstanding success of the Monster Hunter franchise, we discuss the ramifications of Ono's new job title. There have been no official statements from Capcom on this matter, outside of their investor relations page, so this podcast has plenty of speculation, but we also report additional findings we happened upon while researching the original story.

We cover how Ono's LinkedIn page provided additional information about this change, and how involved he's been in the fighting game community, past and present.

Getting into the latest news, we talk about Samurai Spirits (Shodown) terrific launch trailer, Dead or Alive 6's confirmed release date in 2019 and Sagat overtaking Ryu for the first time in 17 months in the Street Fighter 5 character usage ratings.

Velociraptor also discusses his recent story about characters who have won Capcom Pro Tour events and his ongoing character crisis.
