It's the start of a new week, folks, and with the new week comes a new Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition video from the creative mind of Desk .

This time, the consistent combo creator delves into the intricacies of an odd glitch that allows a player to remain completely invincible for the remainder of a round. It is a very situational set up, but it's definitely interesting.

Ed's V-Skill in Street Fighter 5 causes a hard knockdown — meaning you cannot activate a quick rise or back recovery when struck by it. However, as Desk shows, if you're hit with another attack at the same time as the V-Skill, you'll actually be able to break that rule and recover any way you like.

Strangely enough, you can quick rise in this scenario even if you've been KO'd. This same concept can be applied to when an opponent is stunned, and you can actually follow your quick rise with an attack before actually going into the stun animation.

Desk explains how you can use this glitch to become invincible for the remainder of the round. As noted previously, this seems to be a fairly situational set up, so it likely won't become an issue in competitive play.

You can check out a preview of this glitch in action below. Be sure to check out Desk's video for the full explanation.
