The PlayStation Classic's full 20 game lineup has been revealed
Includes Tekken 3, Battle Arena Toshinden, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy 7, Twisted Metal, Rayman, and more
PlayStation has revealed the entire lineup of the PlayStation Classic. All 20 games will be available to play on the mini console on December 3rd for $99.99.
Notably, there only appears to be two fighting games present — Tekken 3 and Battle Arena Toshinden. Capcom's Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbois will also be available to play.
It's also interesting how games like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Resident Evil 2, and other classic PlayStation games are missing from the collection. This is likely due to the fact that many of these titles have remakes out or are coming out.
Some classics that will be playable include legendary titles like Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy 7. While these games were once exclusive to the PlayStation, the protagonists of these titles — Solid Snake and Cloud Strife respectively — are now fan favorites that have debuted in Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. series.
This PlayStation Classic is stated to be 45% smaller than the original PlayStation. Although it comes with two controllers, do bear in mind that it will not come with an AC adapter apparently.
If you feel as though the lineup is missing one of your favorite games, there's the possibility that games can be added just like for the SNES Classic. Be sure to let us know which games you're excited to revisit in the comments section.
