Rumor: The next Nintendo Direct will reportedly take place on November 8th; may be focused on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

The previous Nintendo Direct was not focused on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but it did give us the announcement that Isabelle from Animal Crossing will be joining the game as a fighter though that was already a month and a half ago.

At least a few people on the internet now believe that they know when the next Nintendo Direct will be taking place and that it may in fact only be two weeks away.

Gaming INTEL reports that the next Direct stream will occur between the dates of November 5–12 with the most likely date being November 8th according to their sources and may be at least partially Super Smash Bros. focused.

This rumor is notable because their alleged source previously predicted the original date of September's Nintendo Direct before it was rescheduled due to the natural disasters hitting Japan at the time. They even reportedly correctly gave the website the September 13th date of the new stream time shortly after the initial delay.

In 2017, Nintendo held their Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Direct on November 7th which would also fit with the developer / publisher's pattern for their announcements over the past year with another stream taking place September 13th that year too.

Gaming INTEL and their sources aren't sure if it will be a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct specifically, but given the fact that the game will be dropping on December 7th, it's likely the last time they'll so off the game in that fashion before release. That is unless they decide to hold another direct close to the fighter's launch.

Super Smash Bros. Director Masahiro Sakurai has stated that we should expect fewer announcements following their Smash-centric stream in August, but clearly there's more about Ultimate that they're waiting to reveal.

We still don't know about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's final main mode which is speculated to be called 'Spirits,' and there's likely at least two or more characters left to be revealed with fighters like Street Fighter's Ken being a heavily rumored inclusion along with some evidence to even support Black Knight's appearance from Fire Emblem.

Nintendo usually does not announce the date and times of their Directs until a day or two before it actually begins, so we likely won't get confirmation of the next stream until November rolls around.
