Five costumes return to Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition's Extra Battle mode this week including Captain Commando Nash and Viewtiful Joe Rashid
Henshin-A-Go-Go again
Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition added the ability to earn special costumes through the Extra Battle mode, and Rashid donning Viewtiful Joe's iconic sentai suit kicked the whole thing off. Now he's back once again, and he's brought friends.
Capcom announced today that five crossover costumes which previously came to Extra Battle will be returning this week starting November 30 for players who might have missed them entirely or just a single piece the first time around.
Along with Viewtiful Joe comes the return of Chun-Li dressed as June from Star Gladiator, Captain Commando Nash, Guile's costume for the Nameless Super Soldier and Cammy taking on the appearance of Fiona from Haunting Ground.
Each costume will run through all of their four missions — one each week — which will cost the same amount of 2,500 Fight Money to complete, so that's 50,000 FM players will need to sink in if they want them all.
Any of the missions that players had completed during their first run through Extra Battle will still count towards their progress of the current objectives, so if players completed three of the missions previously, they will only need to finish the battle they missed to earn the costume.
These costumes will run concurrently with the ongoing Mech Juri missions which receives its second piece this week. No DLC bundle has been confirmed for the five returning costumes as Capcom has previously done for the Monster Hunter, Ghosts 'n Goblins and Devil May Cry crossovers. You can see the outfits in the gallery below plus all of the colors and Easter eggs for Guile and Cammy after the jump.
