Upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ patch notes released
Nerfs incoming for Bardock and Android 16
Just last night we learned that a new balance patch would be coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ this week on Wednesday, November 28, and now we know what exactly the new update will entail.
Bandai Namco has now released the patch notes for tomorrow's update on their Japanese website, and Greatfernman has reportedly already translated them into English.
Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Teen Gohan, Frieza, Captain Ginyu, Trunks, Cell, Android 18, Gotenks, Krillin, Kid Buu, Majin Buu, Android 16, Yamcha, Tien, Adult Gohan, Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, Beerus, Goku Black, Android 21, Bardock, Broly, Vegito Blue, Fused Zamasu, Base Form Goku, Base Form Vegeta, Android 17 and Cooler have all received adjustments along with other system-wide changes.
Bardock appears to have had the recovery after hitting his level three Revenger Assault increased and possibly moved farther away from the opponent so he can no longer get his often used mix up. Meanwhile, characters like Piccolo and Beerus look to have received some pretty nice buffs.
This update also adds in the previously announced Tenkaichi Budokai mode along with the online trophy room as well as preparations for the holiday-themed event that is scheduled to begin December 5 including new character colors and lobby avatars.

Notable balance changes in the Dragon Ball FighterZ holiday update
Bardock:
• 214X/j.214X: Increased untech time • Lvl3 Revenger Assault: Increased recovery on hit. Changed distance from opponent on hit
Android 16:
• Z Assist: Blockstun decreased • 214S: Made it a multi hit move • 236S: Decreased startup. Recovery on whiff decreased • Lvl3: Fixed a bug where the last hits could be blocked when Ultimate Z Changing at a specific timing. Changed opponent's distance after hit
Beerus:
• 214X/j.214X: Decreased startup. Increased movement speed • 236S: Decreased startup. Decreased total duration • 214S: Decreased startup. Added armor property during the middle of the move • Lvl3: Recovery on hit decreased
Piccolo:
• 2S: Decreased startup. Increased hitbox • Assist: The orb no longer disappears during cinematics as long as Piccolo is still on screen • 236L (Ground): Wall bounces on hit now • j.236L/H: Decreased startup. Changed the falling speed on hit. Increased untech time • 3/6S: Increased hitbox. Knocks opponent back on hit. Changed effect on hit • 3S: Decreased startup
Kid Buu:
• 236L (Ground): Increased startup • j.236LM (Air lvl1): Increased untech time if it hits on the way down. Made it cross up less often after hitting
