Earlier: We now know Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's entire roster. Newcomers Ridley, Inkling, Simon Belmont, King K. Rool, Isabelle, and Incineroar are just a small portion of the 74 characters that can be selected.

Before we knew the title of the game, we held a poll that asked our readers which newcomers would they like to see join the base roster. Notably, many of the combatants that would later be confirmed received the highest number of votes.

We have confirmation that post-launch content is being developed for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. While the Piranha Plant makes character number 75, there will be five additional characters that will come with the Fighters Pass.

Although Masahiro Sakurai has already confirmed that the DLC selection has been completed by Nintendo, we can still maintain our hopes for our favorite gaming icons. Even if Waluigi, Shadow, Isaac, Shovel Knight, and many others have been confirmed as Assist Trophies, fans are still holding out hope for the possibility of their inclusion.

Funimation seems to have an interest in finally adding Goku to the roster. There are surely a number of fans that were disappointed that the "Grinch leak" ended up being a farce.

We've created a poll to gauge the interest in DLC candidates. It's a very extensive list, but you only have 10 choices. Keep in mind that this is just for fun, so many fighters that have seemingly been "disconfirmed" are still present.
