Tekken 7's next DLC character may be revealed on December 2

Tekken 7's Season 2 content was first announced back in August at EVO 2018, and now we know when we should expect the next big DLC reveal for the fighter.

The Tekken World Tour 2018 Finals will take place in Amsterdam, Netherlands where 20 of the best Tekken players around the world will compete for a piece of the $25,000 prize pool. It will also likely be the place where we see the next characters revealed for the title.

Katsuhiro Harada, Tekken 7's director and head of Bandai Namco's eSports division, stated on Twitter that the Tekken World Tour Finals — taking place December 1–2 — may be the answer when asked by a fan when we'll get to see another DLC fighter for the game.

Anna Williams, Lei Wulong and The Walking Dead's Negan were all announced at EVO with the first two releasing with Tekken 7's Season 2 launch in September. There were six character slots shown off during the initial reveal meaning that we likely have three more fighters who still currently remain a mystery.

This wouldn't be the first time that Bandai Namco would announce a character at their big finals event for Tekken since Final Fantasy 15's Noctis was first revealed during the World Tour Finals in 2017 to the surprise of everyone in the audience and watching at home.

An announcement is not guaranteed to take place at the Tekken 7 World Tour Finals, but it appears to be the most likely option given Harada's words and their previous reveals. You can check out Harada's full response below.
