The Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition tournament at Stunfest 2018 was an extremely stacked event. This is thanks to the fact that it was a premiere Capcom Pro Tour event.

Competitors that attended this tournament included PG|Infiltration, CYG|Daigo, CO|Go1, FD|Fujimura, CYG|Fuudo, FOX|Punk, NVD|Phenom, FOX|Momochi, GGP|Kazunoko, CO|Dogura, EG|NYChrisG, Liquid|John Takeuchi, Ponos|Moke, RB|Bonchan, CYG|GamerBee, DNG|Itabashi Zangief, Mago, EnVyUS|MisterCrimson, AB|Poongko, UYU|OilKing, Rise|Smug, Gachikun, Epsilon|Takamura, AB|StormKubo, EG|Ricki Ortiz, Talon|Xiaobao, Method|ImStillDaDaddy, DouyuTV|Xiao Hai, FNATIC|Shakz, UYU|NL, FNATIC|Akainu, Tempo|Alex Myers, FNATIC|Brick, Atrosh, and many more.

The top eight portion of the bracket played out just earlier today. Numerous spectacular moments occurred due to the talent of those that were present.

We had the opportunity to see some solid Rashid play from Oilking. His opponent, Akainu, was playing as Guile.

Oilking managed to bait out a couple of Flash Kicks from Akainu thanks to Rashid's excellent mobility. He was able to secure a number of punishes thanks to this.

This also made it difficult for Akainu to anti-air throughout the course of the set.

Akainu threw Rashid despite the "tornado warning."

As you might imagine, the back-and-forth set between Infiltration and Daigo was an intense one. Both players were able to secure some strong plays against one another.

Here's why you don't go digging through your bag when Gachikun is around:

One wake up Hail Mary deserves another:

Fujimura just playing out of his mind:

This bout between Infiltration and Oil King felt like it went on for an eternity (albeit a very entertaining one) as both players continued to trade hits, rounds and games right up until the very end. Here's one particularly brilliant sequence from Oil King to stay alive:

The efficiency by Fujimara here is top tier. Most everyone was surprised at how much damage he was able to convert off of this single hit:

He then went on to dominate Daigo in six straight rounds:

Amazing play by both Oil King and Fujimura here... I have no words:

This reaction by Fujimura was so good that his opponent gave him a thumbs up:

As dominant as Infil looked throughout this event, Fujimura ascended to a new place. Infil threatened to take his first round in Grand Finals, but you're always just one Ibuki mix up away from death:
